Ras Al Khaimah, 3rd February, 2015 (WAM) — The Electronic Government Authority of Ras Al Khaimah (EGA), in collaboration with a number of bodies in the emirate launched EXploRAK application that provides a number of smart services and information about the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The application launched by the EGA in collaboration with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, RAK Public Works & Services Department, Ras Al Khaimah Police Headquarters, Ras Al Khaimah Department Of Antiquities And Museums, and Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, allows users to view attractions, hotels and restaurants in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah easily and find their locations on an interactive map. The application also allows booking a taxi or limousine, and viewing bus schedules, and flights schedules in Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, and the ability to locate users who need emergency services, with the ability to contact them. Among the application services available on all smart phones is a service called “Raqeb” which helps users to report violations of public utilities like stray animals and road damages.
