Support Services

The Support Services department manages all aspects of human resources, administrative services, financial services and procurement. It takes charge of reviewing and setting the policies, rules, and regulations for all matters related to administration and finance in compliance with the rules and regulations of RAK EGA and the Government of Ras Al Khaimah.

The department features three different sections and on unit for administrative services:

  • Human Resources Section – takes care of planning and developing human resources in line with the strategic HR plans laid by the government.
  • Finance Section – in charge of managing financial resources and setting annual budgets as per RAK EGA’s strategic goals and objectives, and ensuring the optimal usage of financial resources.
  • Procurement Section – takes charge of procurement and contracting procedures for all the needs of RAK EGA as per the unified financial system implemented by the Department of Finance.
  • Administrative Services Unit – provides support and tools for offices, telecommunication and transportation required for business. It also takes care of managing and upkeeping the facilities and assets of RAK EGA.
