Sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, Chairman of the Executive Council, the eGovernment Authority, in cooperation with the Human Resources Department, launched a common initiative entitled “Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Initiative to Empower Young Programmers”. His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Said Al Sayyah, Director General of the Authority, and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Latif, Director General of the Human Resources Department witnessed the release of the Initiative. As the initiative aims to invest in Emirates nationals for the long run, and to provide customized training opportunities in AI, application promotion, and cybersecurity. The intensive training program to be executed, shall be submitted by specialized experts in the field of digital transformation, which in turn will enable participants to gain the required skills to deal with the most outstanding technological challenges in the future.

In addition, the initiative shall aim to introduce future technological tools to Emirati youth, establish their capabilities, and provide job opportunities that help them to use their skills in digital fields. This move shall be considered a part of the vision of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to develop the digital knowledge economy and to achieve its objectives regarding the establishment of an economy based on technology and innovation.

This initiative shall represent a part of a strategic vision aiming to reinforce the position of Ras Al Khaimah as a leading Emirate in the field of digital transformation, and to provide a motivating environment to increase sustainable innovation and economic growth.
