The eGovernment Authority organized the “My Flag My Banner” initiative in conjunction with the country’s Flag Day celebrations, in cooperation with the Partnerships and Community Communication Team of the Community Police Department and with the Traffic Awareness and Information Branch of the Traffic and Patrols Department. This initiative comes in response to the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President the Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” to raise the state flag over federal and local government institutions at the state level. The team distributed a number of state flags to various homes among residential neighborhoods in one of the regions in the emirate, in addition to distributing them to drivers and road users, in rejoicing on this national occasion that is dear to the soul of every citizen.
