Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Customs Department and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority, witnessed the celebrations organized by the Department in cooperation with the Department of Finance and the E-Government Authority on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of National Day, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Executive Director of the Free Zones and Investment Authority, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mahrezi, member of the Federal National Council and Director General of the Customs Department, His Excellency Yusuf Ali Al Balushi, Director of the Department of Finance, His Excellency Ahmed Al Sayyah, Director of the eGovernment Authority and a number of dignitaries. The ceremony began with the national anthem and verses from the Holy Quran, then Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Al Mahrizi, announced the start of the celebration of the National Day and the Martyr’s Day.
