Corporate Governance

RAK EGA follows best practices in implementing its policy for corporate governance. RAK EGA also adopts a culture of corporate governance at all levels and for all activities by adopting the following key principles of governance:

  • Focusing on stakeholders: Respecting the legal rights of stakeholders, identifying their needs and compensating for any violation of those rights, engaging them in decisions that concern them, and developing policies and procedures for dealing with them. Stakeholders include all concerned bodies such as dealers, partners, suppliers, contractors and employees of RAK EGA.
  • Integrity and Ethical Values: Achieving a high level of integrity, working for the public interest and establishing the ethical values of RAK EGA among employees and clients.
  • Accountability: Ensuring accountability at all levels through policies and actions that promote it.
  • Disclosure and Transparency: Disclosing important information in a fair manner to all concerned parties and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Fairness: Treating all parties fairly without discrimination.
  • Segregation between Control and Execution: Through the development of policies and procedures and the existence of an effective regulatory structure that ensures the segregation of regulatory functions from operational functions.
