Innovation and Creativity

RAK EGA aligns itself with the government’s directives when it comes to innovation and creativity, with a firm belief that they are the foundations for continuous development  to achieve the vision and objectives of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the aspirations of the United Arab Emirates to become one of the most innovative nations by 2021. RAK EGA has formed its own policy for innovation and creativity. According to this policy RAK EGA achieves equality and transparency among employees as well as recognizing and motivating talents through a number of strategies:

• Facilitating an environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
• Conducting specialized training programs in the areas of institutional creativity and innovation, involving all stakeholders be it employees or clients, and investing in the outcome of learning and training processes.
• Enhancing the social responsibility of RAK EGA by supporting talented people to nurture them and keep them in a creative state.
• Making available resources and tools for creativity and innovation, and providing opportunities and capabilities for coming up with creative ideas and applying them.
• Implementing innovative and creative initiatives in accordance with best practices and ensuring their competitiveness.
• Optimizing the processes of creativity and innovation in accordance with local and international best practices.
• Protecting the intellectual property of applied creative ideas.
• Strengthening partnerships with all stakeholders in the fields of creativity and innovation and benefiting from their experiences in this domain.
• Building effective partnerships with universities, scientific research centers and other concerned parties in both the public and private sectors.
