The Digital Transformation project for government services  is considered one of the key strategic projects for the government of Ras Al Khaimah aimed at establishing electronic integration for data exchange between government departments for the purpose of facilitating the delivery of services through digital channels for citizens, residents, businesses, and visitors. With this integration it becomes easier to transact with the government, and a transaction that would typically require visits to multiple departments can be done online easily and efficiently.
The project has already completed the digital transformation of over 450 e-services for various government departments through the official portal of Ras Al Khaimah (rak.ae). When the project is completed, the aggregate percentage of digital transformation in the Emirate will reach 90%.
