Ras Al Khaimah, 1st of September – WAM His Highness Sheikh Khalid Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi inaugurated today the electronic system “Mawardna” in RAK Government with the presence of local directors of departments in the emirate at the theater of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber. The Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa, Director General of the Department of Human Resources indicated that Ras Al Khaimah emirate is the first to use the electronic program supported by smartphone application “Saab” which is associated to human resources and it was launched by the Human Resources Department in collaboration with the eGovernment Authority and they called it “Mawardna”. He pointed out that the program allows all human resources services electronically through the website or smartphone application. Also He pointed out that the system includes 12 government departments that will be provided with 44 electronic services in the first phase. And the directors of departments are able to have access to all statistics related to their departments. He noted that the program will connect in the second phase which begins in next October and ends in September of next year with the Emirates Identity Authority and General Pensions and Social Security Authority, which will make it easier for the employee to access his insurance system. Also to make it easier for the job seekers to submit their data and find vacancies. Khalifa pointed out that in the first phase more than 2,000 employees will benefit from the electronic program and in the second phase it will include the rest of the districts and all local government employees. He pointed out that the program is part of a strategic plan for the department to shift electronically in all transactions and procedures related to human resources , where the electronic system “Mawardna” features seamlessly into it procedures and easy to use. From his part, HE Eng. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Sayyah, e Government Authority General Manager said that the project “Mawardna” is part of series advancement projects of the emirate and its institutions according to the visions and strategies and mechanisms that clearly defined to meet the aspirations and demands of the wise leadership and RAK Government for the electronic transformation of the emirate toward the front of the sphere of e-Governments. Al Sayyah confirmed that RAK Government aims through the application of this system to raise the work efficiency of the governmental entities and unify the work mechanism of all human resources operations. And improve services with modern technology and all that would accelerate the completion of business and services from anywhere in the same degree of security and confidentiality.
