Launching a project for an integrated central electronic payment system

The Department of Finance in the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and the e-Government Authority announced the expansion of their partnership with the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah, to launch a project for an integrated central electronic payment system as a result of continuous efforts with “STS”, the regional leader in the field of providing electronic payment solutions, and during a press conference held At the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, His Excellency Yousef Ali Mohammed, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ras Al Khaimah, said: “This partnership serves the strategic directions of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and its vision by 2030, especially within the framework of adopting a clear vision for the Department of Finance by adopting an innovative platform in the field of management. Public money that relies primarily on electronic and smart technology to enhance sustainable development opportunities in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The implementation of this project, which is based on the smart payment gateway solutions provided by STS, will have a significant impact by unifying the mechanism for collecting government revenues in the emirate without the need to use many payment systems that burden employees and customers, as the “Ras Al Khaimah Smart” project supports… » For various payment methods, including credit and debit cards, as well as digital wallets, and it is considered a unified central payment platform that supports the provision of government electronic services. He continued: “The launch of this strategic project by the Department of Finance in Ras Al Khaimah with its partners, the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah and SST, comes as a goal and a keenness to use the best smart and innovative systems to meet the requirements of the beneficiary parties and expand ways of partnership and institutional cooperation.
