Based on the e-Government Authority’s keenness to implement the national innovation strategy and activate its role through partnership with government departments, universities and educational institutions. Many activities were implemented during the UAE Innovation Month 2019. The Authority participated in the UAE Hackathon 2019 event (Data for Happiness and Quality of Life), which was organized by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. It was held in the third week of February at the American University in Ras Al Khaimah. This event allowed employees to participate as mentors and judges in the Hackathon Challenge, during which the Industrial Revolution workshop was presented. The fourth was by employee Kholoud Al-Kibali. In addition to participating in the Innovative Corniche Festival, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, from February 15 to 21 on the Al Qawasim Corniche, organized by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council in Ras Al Khaimah and under the supervision of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command. The authority’s participation was represented by organizing the Future Knights platform with the participation of various parties, namely the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, the Higher Colleges of Technology, the Federal Youth Foundation, and the Ministry of Education (Musa bin Nusayr School, Al Mairid School for Basic and Secondary Education, and Fatima Bint Mubarak School), in order to present innovative student projects. And creativity and anticipating the future, and employee Kholoud Al-Kibali presented the Innovation Revolution workshop at the festival. Also, in support of innovation and creativity in the health sector, the authority’s team implemented the smart package application for Ibrahim Obaidullah Hospital in order to provide easy and innovative services. It is worth noting that the Authority has formed a work team led by employee Amna Al Shehhi, Head of the Innovation and Future Foresight Team, which includes the team from various departments of the Authority to implement the activities of the UAE Innovation Month. The team has arranged and organized the Authority’s approved activities during the UAE Innovation Month in the sites where the events are implemented in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
